The New Now – Finding your feet

Peter lost his job after losing his sight – He was sleeping all day and had little motivation.
We worked with Peter;  encouraged him to have a daily routine which is making a difference in his life.

We are now working towards his next goal; to attend social activities at Bedford Hall.

If you’ve lost your job, you might be able to get New Style Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA), Universal Credit or Pension Credit.

You could get eligible if:

  • you usually work less than 16 hours a week

  • you’re under State Pension age

  • you have made enough National Insurance contributions over the last 2 to 3 years
